Injustice: Gods Among Us adds Cyborg and Nightwing to roster

The roster of Warner Bros. upcoming fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us grew stronger today with the addition of two new heroes – Cyborg and Nightwing.

Developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, creators of the successful Mortal Kombat franchise, Injustice: Gods Among Us introduces players to a deep, original story featuring a cast of iconic DC Comics superheroes like Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and now Cyborg and Nightwing.

For those unfamiliar with these most recent characters Cyborg, also known as Victor Shane, is a half-man and half-machine hero whose body was destroyed in a tragic accident, but saved through experimental technology. With the majority of his body parts replaced with a large arsenal of high-tech gadgets and weaponry, Cyborg is a walking powerhouse.

Nightwing, on the other hand, is the name adopted by Batman's sidekick Dick Grayson after graduating from his role as Robin.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to release in 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and the Wii U. Fans attending San Diego Comic-Con can get a chance to play the game at DC Entertainment's booth (#1915).
