NewsCall of Duty DLC Fireworks: DLC 50 percent off, portion of sales goes to charity
Today Activision launched its Call of Duty DLC Fireworks promotion. For one whole week, individuals playing Modern Warfare 3 or Black Ops will have the opportunity to snag downloadable add-on content for 50 percent off. Not a bad deal! The following is a list of the DLC that's up for sale:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #2
- Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Resurrection
There's no denying that this Fireworks DLC promotion is pretty awesome for gamers, but even more awesome is the fact that a portion of the proceeds will go to Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that helps out war veterans by providing them with job placement opportunities and training services.
If you want to shoot other dudes in the face and help out this country's veterans, you may want to invest a few bucks into some Call of Duty DLC. I mean, let's face it, you're playing anyway, right? Why not get some cool DLC and help out a good cause all at once? Call of Duty DLC Fireworks is available to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC users.
