NewsPokemon Black 2 and White 2 hit 1.6 million sales in two days

The Pokemon series just keeps raking in that green. Japanese magazines Famitsu and Enterbrain are reporting that Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 have surpassed 1.6 million sales.
Specifically, the dual Pokemon titles managed to push a total of 1,618,621 units in one week. Actually, scratch that. Since Black 2 and White 2 launched in Japan on a Saturday, that first week is technically only two days. Two days!
Despite my shock, these sales figures shouldn't be all that surprising as people love them some Pokemanz! It should be noted that Black 2 and White 2 are now the third fastest-selling titles in Japan on the DS. The original Black and White have the honor of being at the number one spot over there, with 2,637,285 copies sold in one week ... er, I mean, two days. And Dragon Quest IX sold 2,343,440; also in just two days.
Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, we look forward to your launch on the DS here in North America. Now get to stepping so we can play ya!
