The recent Resistance: Burning Skies for PlayStation Vita may be the only game in the series fans receive for a while, according to Sony.

Speaking to Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s online producer Daniel Brooke said they had "no definitive plans" for the future of the series.

Burning Skies was met with mixed reviews (it's holding at 59 on Metacritic), and sales for Resistance 3 were poor compared with its predecessor.
