NewsPlayStation Vita software update 1.69 released
Last night, Sony pushed out a "minor" system software update for the PlayStation Vita.
The surprise update is 97mb in size, but is completely optional. Sony didn't detail exactly what the update does, instead saying it "improves software stability".
Many are upset and frustrated over Sony's lack of support for the Vita, especially after a disappointing E3 where very few games were announced for the handheld. With PSOne support coming soon to the Vita, this software update might have something to do with that.
They did announce, at E3, that Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation and PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale will both be offered on the Vita.
