NewsNintendo's weird 'Wii U Together' commercial shows ZombiU
Did you catch this odd, pre-E3 commercial advertising the Wii U?
In the video, a desperate gamer named Todd uses the various online capabilities to beat a difficult zombie boss — both a teaser for the upcoming M-rated title ZombiU and a humorous look at how players can interact with one another through the console using what's called the Miiverse.
Of course, Nintendo has expressed concerns over keeping its new Miiverse social network clean of profanity and inappropriate behavior. They plan to use a three-tier approach to monitor communications: content filtering, human resources, and user flagging, said Nintendo’s chief executive, Satoru Iwata, in an interview with the LA Times.
Obviously, the second step will require more time, so posts won't appear right away. “But personally, I think 30 minutes should be acceptable,” Iwata said.
