Carmageddon releasing for mobile devices

To repay fans for their support on Kickstarter, Stainless Games has converted the original Carmageddon to play on iOS and Android devices.

Stainless, which is currently preparing a PC reboot called Carmageddon: Reincarnation, will release the mobile version of the classic driving game this summer. They've confirmed a list of features:

  • Universal App.
  • A wide selection of touch control methods.
  • Intuitive gesture system allowing repair and recovery of the player vehicle in game.
  • Action Replay allowing players to save a movie and upload it to YouTube.
  • Game Center integration on iOS.

Game Center will allow for leaderboards and achievements. Both platform editions will appear for free during their first 24 hours.
