NewsSkyrim Dawnguard beta registration opens for Xbox 360
Following the success of the PC beta updates, Bethesda has announced that registration for Skyrim Dawnguard on Xbox 360 has opened up.
Dawnguard, the first game add-on for Skyrim, will be available first on the Xbox 360 before heading to the PS3 and PC at a later date. It will be available for 1600 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE this Summer.
Yesterday, Bethesda released the first trailer for Dawnguard, revealing the DLC will focus around a war between hunters and vampires. Judging from the trailer it looks like players will have the option to team up with the Dawnguard - the group of hunters - or the super-vampires.
To sign up for the Dawnguard Beta on Xbox 360 visit the official website. The application process should only take a couple of minutes, but applicants need a registered account on the official forums to apply. You'll also want to make sure your forum email address is updated.
Bethesda will be selecting applicants "in about a week". Players accepted into the beta will receive an Xbox LIVE code to redeem Dawnguard. The beta is the full version - complete with Xbox LIVE achievements - and those participating will not have to purchase the add-on content. Sign up for the Skyrim Dawnguard beta here.
