The first E3 surprise has been announced with a reveal that Microsoft will unveil a new Gears of War title during its press conference on Monday.  It will be released, of course, as an Xbox 360 exclusive title.

The announcement came via GameInformer who teased next month's cover art for the currently untitled Gears of War game.  The image shows a silhouetted figure in chains being escorted by two guards.  Other than that, we really have nothing more to go on.

The wait won't be long however.  On Monday, during Microsoft's press conference, the first teaser trailer will be released.  Will it be a prequel so that we get Dom back?
