Today CD Projekt Red revealed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 1.7 million copies worldwide on both PC and Xbox 360 — so including the new Enhanced Edition.

That number may continue to grow, as Spike Chunsoft is publishing an Xbox version of the game in Japan on August 23.

A Mac version is coming in the fall.

GOG.com is running a special sale on the Enhanced Edition, now $29.99 for a limited time. Free digital copies are available for existing owners of the first two The Witcher games.
