NewsCapcom working on patch to fix Street Fighter X Tekken (again)
Remember when Capcom released a patch that fixed a few bugs in Street Fighter X Tekken and then subsequently glitched the game by making it crash every time a thrown knife projectile connected with a fireball? Yeah, that was pretty funny. It was also really stupid, and it added to the laundry list of problems plaguing Street Fighter X Tekken.
Well, now Capcom is apparently "hard at work" conjuring up a patch to fix the problems brought on by the previous patch. Capcom's Tomoaki Ayano had the following to say about the matter:
As many of you are aware, a game breaking glitch has appeared in Street Fighter X Tekken after the release of the 1.04 update. The development team is currently examining the problem and planning to patch the game as quickly as possible. The patch to fix the glitch should be released by mid June.
We truly apologize for this problem, and hope everyone will be patient until the patch is released.
So there it is, folks. Sit tight for about a month or so and you'll get your shiny new patch. You have to wonder, though, will the new patch come bundled with any problems of its own? That would be totally hilarious ... and stupid. Really, really stupid.
