NewsMicrosoft offering free Xbox 360 with PC purchase
With the current school year wrapping up and many seniors now headed off to college, Microsoft is bringing back their 'Buy a PC, get an Xbox 360' promotion.
Starting May 20, in the U.S., students who buy a qualifying Windows PC worth $699 or more at participating retailers can get a 4GB Xbox 360 console for free. In Canada, students who buy a PC worth $599 or more can also get an Xbox 360 for free.
Participating retailers in the U.S. include: Best Buy, Dell.com, Fry’s Electronics, HPDirect.com, Microsoft Stores, and NewEgg.com. In Canada, they include Best Buy, Dell.ca, Future Shop, Staples and The Source.
As a former college student, I definitely spent my fair share of nights blowing off stress from exams on Halo. And with Halo 4 set to release this Fall, this might be the perfect time for you to take advantage of this promotion and pick up an Xbox 360. Just don't let it affect your studies! School first, then play!
