NewsDiablo 3 real-money auction house set to launch May 29
The controversial Diablo 3 real-money auction house, which was previously delayed from its original estimated date of May 22, will arrive May 29, Blizzard estimates.
Blizzard originally decided to delay the launch of the real-money auction house due to the early server struggles following Diablo 3's release.
The real-money auction house has been a controversial addition to Diablo 3, with many fans irked with the idea of buying in-game items with either gold or real life money. Despite protest, Blizzard has continued to support the idea of the auction house and in a little over a week we will soon learn whether or not it was a good idea.
