NewsThatgamecompany turns six, obtains two new employees
Six years ago on March 15, thatgamecompany was born. The studio has gone on to become a major force in the art game spectrum, and it recently delivered one of the best experiences in the genre with Journey.
While thatgamecompany co-founder Kellee Santiago and executive producer Robin Hunicke have both moved on to different projects, the art game dev continues going strong. And in time for its sixth birthday, thatgamecompany has signed on two new faces.
Taking on the role of studio manager is Sunni Pavlovic, who said that she's honored to be a part of the team and hopes to interact with gamers. Vincent Diamante, who previously worked on Cloud and Flower, has been hired full-time as thatgamecompany's audio director, and says he's ready for "a great ride."
It's exciting to see some fresh faces with bold motivation joining the developer. As a fan of thatgamecompany, I really can't wait to see what these folks bring to the table.
