NewsMario Tennis Open arriving later this month
Mario Tennis Open is hitting 3DS later this month — on May 20, according to Amazon.
Players can compete or team up in local wireless matches, check their standings on the monthly leaderboard, and collect Victory Medals for each defeated opponent.
The "Ink Showdown" challenges players to destroy inky spit balls from Piranha Plants before they splatter, all while keeping tennis balls in motion.
StreetPass features will allow participants to engage in competitive matches or cooperative Ring Shot matches. Players can use their Miis to improve their performance on the court with customized outfits and accessories, unlocked in the Item Shop.
Gameplay and QR Codes will unlock special characters, such as Luma, Baby Mario, and Dry Bowser.
