Awesomenauts is set to release next week, in all its 80's cartoonish-glory, and to help you get up to speed Ronimo Games has released a new "How-to-play" video featuring footage from the online action game.

The video teaches you the very basics of the game like destroying turrets protecting the drills, how to tell what team your on, etc.  It's pretty basic stuff, but enough to get you excited for next week's release.

Awesomenauts will be releasing on May 1st on PS3 in North America, with it going live everywhere else, on both PS3 and Xbox 360, on May 2nd.  It will cost $9.99, or 800 Microsoft Points. 

But best news of all, earlier this week, Sony and Ronimo Games announced Awesomenauts is the PlayStation Plus game for the month of May!  This means the game will be available to play for free for all PlayStation Plus members.
