NewsiPhone 5 to be unveiled in June at WWDC, use liquidmetal material

New rumors from South Korea claim the next generation iPhone 5 will be unveiled in June by Apple at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference set to take place in San Francisco. This is not the first report we've heard that speculates a June reveal, but the source also claims that Apple is planning to use Liquidmetal alloys in the new iPhone.
The new material is said to replace the glass case in the current model, allowing the device to be both thinner and lighter. It will supposedly be more resistant to impact damage.
The rumor from ETNews isn't too unreasonable given Apple's signed licensing agreement with Liquidmetal Technologies back in August 2010. The signed agreement grants Apple the IP rights to use the company's "amorphous metal" technology for use in any of its future devices.
