NewsNeptune V screens surface
Early last week news surfaced that Japanese developer Compile Heart was working on a follow-up to Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 (which I loved). Titled Neptune V, the game is set to feature reimagined areas and characters from past titles, and it will take place in an entirely new universe.
Compile Heart has launched the official Japanese site for Neptune V. I don't know a lick of Japanese, so don't ask me to tell you what's on the site. I did see the letter "V", but that's all I can tell you.
Some new screens have also popped up. The game looks a lot like Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 (which I seriously adored, as you can read about in my review), though the graphics do seem a bit cleaner. Check them out below and get as stoked as I am for Neptune V.
While Neptune V is scheduled to launch in Japan this summer, there's still no word on when and if it will come to North America. Here's hoping it does, though, because I had a blast seeing all of those crazy video game and social media references in Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. (Have I mentioned how much I loved that game?)
