NewsHitman: Absolution Collector's Edition, pre-order incentives revealed
We may not know Hitman: Absolution's release date, though it's currently expected to meet its 2012 target, but we do know now that it'll feature a Collector's Edition to go alongside the standard $59.99 copy. The special edition, dubbed the "Professional Edition," was announced earlier this week, along with several retailer-specific pre-order incentives.
According to the press release, the Professional Edition will feature a premium hardcover art book with a foreword from Game Director Tore Blystad, an exclusive behind-the-scenes “making of” video, and an extensive amount of in-game DLC all packaged in a sleek clamshell case.
Square Enix also detailed the pre-order incentives in the press release, all of which can be seen below (more are expected to be announced, though, by the end of the month):
Amazon
- Bartoli Custom Pistol – An engineered precision weapon, complete with sight and silencer.
Best Buy
- Bronson 1928M SMG – A classic submachine gun with high fire rate and deadly stopping power.
GameStop
- Sniper Rifle: Agency Kazo TRG – The modern agency rifle with upgradable scope and silencer.
Walmart
- Krugermeier 2-2 Pistol – An accurate, reliable stealth weapon with a built-in silencer.
