Sony today released a new live-action commercial for Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation Vita.
The video focuses on NetherRealm Studio's focusing on allowing players to Kombat anywhere, providing the best possible on-the-go fighting experience for fans.
While Mortal Kombat won't offer Cross-over Play, fighters will be able to engage in online Versus mode via ad-hoc (local) and WiFi (intrastructure).
Other feautres include 150 new Challenge Tower missions that incorporate the DLC characters, as well as front touchscreen and accelerometer integration. New costumes will be revealed at a later date and artists have spent time re-creating an iconic MKII arena that "integrates the rear camera that will give players the ability to Fight Anywhere."
Mortal Kombat on the PS Vita will release on May 1st in the U.S. and May 4th in Europe.
