Riot Games gave us a little two-for-one today.  Not only did they show the new abilities for Hecarim, the Shadow of War, but they gave us a sneak peak of another new champion they have coming out — Varus, the Arrow of Retribution.  The new League of Legends champion supposedly had the world turn its back on him, so he answers with stone-cold revenge.  Varus wields a powerful bow consumed by dark magic and an unrelenting thirst for vengeance in his heart.

According to his Sneak Peek, which contains Observation, Judgement, and Reflection, Varus is hunting Noxian agents and vengeance is the only purpose he has left.

The only other champion with a bow — and I'm not counting Twitch or Vayne with their crossbows — is Ashe, and she's a Attack Damage champion.  So I'm curious if Varus will also be an AD range carry, because it does say that his bow is consumed by dark magic.  Maybe he'll be an ability power archer, or a hybrid build might be viable on him.  If he's hunting agents, he might have some assassin skills to him.  Stay tuned as more information about this champion gets revealed.
