NewsDark Horse to publish Portal 2 artbook
It's been a little less than a year since Valve launched the critically acclaimed Portal 2. The game was a true testament to puzzle gameplay and delivered one of the best gaming experiences of the year. Portal 2 landed on several gamers' best of 2011 lists, and the praise it received was completely well-deserved.
Here we are just a few days shy from the game's one year anniversary, and it looks like some new life is being breathed into the franchise. No, not a game. That would be cool, but that's not the case.
Instead, Dark Horse Comics, the publisher behind the outstanding Hellboy series, will be releasing a special Portal 2 artbook. Oh, how I love artbooks!
The graphical style of Portal 2 is certainly worthy of some snazzy artwork, and I think Dark Horse will pull it off and deliver some great stuff. The book will contain 184 pages, and it will be titled The Art of Portal 2. Watch out for it on October 31, which just so happens to be, like, one of the greatest holidays ever.
