Rumor: Black Ops 2 release date leaked, multiplayer to feature 'major changes'
In case you're a little out of the loop (we use "little" very lightly), Activision likes money and Call of Duty makes them a lot of money. The publisher continues to hear cash registers ring as more and more gamers purchase their FPS titles. Despite this, another game is in the works and slated for a 2012 release, but Activision has yet to announce just what it is. According to a recent forum post, though, it's definitely Black Ops 2.
MP1ST stumbled accorss the forum post on Activision's forums, which has since been removed by the publisher. The post claims that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is coming November 6, and that Treyarch is making "major changes" to the multiplayer. The poster also claims that multiplayer will use the point streaks seen in Modern Warfare 3, though changes will be seen with it as well.

The fact that Activision removed the post is quite intriguing. While this rumor can only be taken with a grain of salt, keep your eyes peeled on any further Call of Duty news/rumors. If Black Ops 2 is indeed Treyarch's next project, what changes would you like to see with the multiplayer? Are there any ways that the developer could "reinvent" the FPS genre?
