NewsPlayStation Vita's Mortal Kombat release date announced
Warner Bros. has announced thismorning that Mortal Kombat on the PlayStation Vita will arrive on May 1st in North America. For those outside of North America, the game will be released on May 4th, 2012.
In addition to providing gamers a mobile version of the over-the-top fighting game, Mortal Kombat on the Vita will introduce brand new gameplay features and a ton of new content developed exclusively for Sony's revolutionary handheld system.
Mortal Kombat on the Vita adds an all-new Challenge Tower mode with 150 brand new missions, including Touchscreen Fatalaties, Xrays, and more.
There's no cross-over play with the PlayStation 3 version, but Vita owners will get all of the DLC characters added to the original release.
