NewsRayman Origins out now on PC
Rayman Origins didn't make it onto my personal list of top video games of 2011, but that's only because I didn't play it until January 2012. Oh well, it happens. Still, it's easy for me to see that Ubisoft's latest exploration of the armless and legless critter was a true testament to the 2D platforming genre.
Rayman Origins has been widely available on several different platforms, and just today it made the leap to the PC. You can snag a download of the game for your computer directly from the UbiShop, or you can download it on Steam. The game is priced at $29.99 on both, so it's really just a matter of personal preference.
Rayman Origins on the PC is DRM-free, which should be pleasing to plenty of gamers. It also still looks really, really pretty, so if you dig the visual eye candy, be sure to check it out. There's even a demo available, so if you're still not sure about making this a full puchase, take the trial for a spin
Rayman Origins got off to a slow start in terms of sales, but it has since delivered favorable numbers for Ubisoft. That's great news, because now we may get a sequel someday. Here's hoping. In the meantime, let's keep playing the heck out of Rayman Origins.
