NewsGhost Recon: Future Soldier trailer details wave-based 'Guerilla' mode
In the third episode of Inside Recon, Ubisoft has detailed the new Guerilla mode, a new four-player co-op experience similar to Horde mode found in Gears of War.
The goal of Guerilla mode was to create an "intense mode where you feel the pressure of being overwhelmed by enemy forces."
In Guerilla mode will fight cooperatively with friends against waves of enemies, but will have the objective of securing and holding strategic positions. The first wave is all about stealth as you take over the enemy HQ as quietly as possible and then hold the position against new waves of enemies.
Every 10 waves you have to secure and hold a new position. Each Guerilla map features 50 waves of enemies.
The overall goal in Guerilla mode is to attain the highest score. By killing enemies in style you will get more points. For all of the other features in Guerilla mode, check out the video below.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set to release on May 24, 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
