NewsPlayStation Vita's Gravity Rush ships 100K in Japan
PlayStation Vita title Gravity Rush has topped 100,000 units shipped in Japan since the action title released in the country nearly two months ago.
Considered by many to be one of the best games for the PlayStation Vita, Gravity Rush (or Gravity Daze as it's called in Japan) debuted with 43,000 units sold in its first week.
Director Keiichiro Toyama said on Twitter earlier today that the game has been selling steadily since then, albeit in small amounts, according to a report from Andriasang. According to a comparison from Gamasutra, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Nintendo's new first-party action game for the 3DS has sold 132,000 copies in Japan after only two days since its release.
Gravity Rush will have the chance to redeem itself as it's set to release on June 12th in the U.S.
