Capcom and Slant Six Games' new Resident Evil multiplayer title releases this Tuesday, March 20, but DLC is already on its way—and it's free.

The complimentary downloadable content will land on XLBA and PSN—no exclusive online pass needed—on April 10 with a new Spec Ops mission. The extra pits players against members of the Umbrella Security Service, one of the two playable factions in the main game (with six to a side), as well as zombies and B.O.W.’s

The mission will also re-explore an "important moment from Resident Evil 3," when Jill Valentine first meets Nemesis.

Operation Raccoon City is also slated for PC on May 18.
