NewsBioShock Infinite Motorized Patriot featurette
Crazy enemies are a staple of BioShock games, so it's no surprise that Infinite will have enemies that rival Big Daddies. The Creative Director of BioShock Infinite, Ken Levine, says in this video that they wanted a broader range of enemies in Infinite.
When I think in BioShock Infinite, we really wanted to have sort of a class of enemies that had a sort of a more imaginitive range of powers, and we came up with this concept called the Heavy Hitters who are enemies that are sort of used to not just be more powerful but also to augment the abilities of the more traditional BioShock enemies. You're gonna come across them in certain areas of the game, and they're going to provide a really unique challenge.
Who's the first Heavy Hitter that we're getting introduced to? A robotic George Washington with a porcelain face and a gatling gun, of course! Check out the video below that features the developers thoughts behind creating the Motorized Patriot.
