Angry Birds rockets into space later this month
We knew back in February that developer Rovio Mobile would be taking the birds and their arch-rivals, the pigs, into outer space on March 22, but today the developer made a much bigger announcement—like, International Space Station big.
The company recruited the assistance of NASA astronaut Don Pettit, who discussed the game in detail and demonstrated first-hand the kind of new physics we'll see in the game, such as curved trajectories.
Angry Birds Space is coming to Mac, PC, iOS, and Android with 60 levels, six new characters, superpowers, and of course, zero-gravity gameplay.
Check out the trailer featuring Pettit below. Whatever an astronaut's selling, I'm buying.
