NewsMax Payne 3 official cover art revealed today

Max Payne sets to make his glorious return this May with Max Payne 3, and we couldn't be more excited. Rockstar carefully crafted a gorgeous title that will hopefully deliver in every way, tailoring to new fans and old dogs alike. Thus far we've only seen screenshots and concept art from the game, but today Rockstar has revealed the official box art.
The official cover, which can be seen below, features a scarred Max against the gorgeous São Paulo skyline. Max also shares the cover with one of the city's "underground criminal element[s] and one of its Brazilian bombshells." Without further commentating, we welcome the official Max Payne 3 box art:
Max Payne 3 hits store shelves for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 15, 2012 in North America and May 18, 2012 in Europe, with the PC version available on May 29th, 2012 in North America and June 1st, 2012 in Europe.
