NewsPlayStation Plus subscribers get early access to Journey
If you're dying to experience the unique adventure of Journey, a downloadable title from thatgamecompany coming March 13 to the PlayStation Network, then you're in luck ... if you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber.
Those with a membership to PlayStation Plus, a paid service launched in summer 2010 that recently introduced Cloud storage, can download the game along with a bonus dynamic theme starting next week.
Thatgamecompany, the developer behind intriguing properties such as flOw and Flower, confirmed the news on their Twitter account (@thatgamecompany) this afternoon: "That's true, @MagnumTweets! #JourneyPS3 will come out Tuesday for @PlayStation Plus subscribers!"
Gamers without PlayStation Plus benefits can still pre-order the game from the PlayStation Store and snag the same theme.
Journey allows players to assist but not communicate with one another as they travel through a desert toward a mountain in the distance.
