NewsHardcore HQ and FFA modes coming to Modern Warfare 3 tonight via patch
Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling announced today that a new Modern Warfare 3 patch is going live tonight (around 2 AM). The patch will be for all platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Some of the tweaks include a nerf to the Akimbo Machine Pistols (including FMG9s) with reduced rate of fire.
Also coming in tonight's patch, much to the delight of many players, are the additions of Hardcore HQ and Hardcore FFA modes.
For those unfamiliar, Hardcore mode is an alternative to the normal playlists featuring limited HUD, significantly less health, no KillCam, respawn delay, and friendly fire.
