NewsFacebook App for PlayStation Vita removed from PS Store temporarily
Sony had decided to remove the Facebook App for the PlayStation Vita from the PS Store following for what the company is saying is a problem with the social network's server settings.
Sony claims the issue is on Facebook's end and has nothing to do with the PlayStation Vita. After customers have complained of error codes and problems with the application itself, Sony has yanked the app until the issues are resolved.
You are no longer able to download the application on the PlayStation Store and there is no timeframe as to when it will be back up. Sony said this on the official PlayStation EU Twitter:
"The Facebook App for PS Vita has been removed from PS Store due to an issue on the Facebook side. We’re working with them to fix it ASAP."
Sony did say users are safe to leave the app installed on their Vita "for now", but may delete it if they wish.
