NewsAngry Birds Space coming March 22nd
Having dominated Earth with more than 700 million downloads, Angry Birds is now looking to space for the future.
Rovio today announced the space expansion to the popular mobile game Angry Birds, which has players slingshot cute, but angry bird characters at green pigs hiding in structures that must be destroyed.
Rovio quickly took advantage of the game's booming success with everything from movie appearances to plush toys.
The company has called Angry Birds Space "the biggest game launch since the original Angry Birds." The new game will introduce many new characters and all-new gravity physics. In addition to launching birds in space, the game will include a variety of other gameplay elements including slow motion, lightspeed destruction, and other new features.
Right now, all we have is a teaser trailer for the game and a website that will hopefully explain more.
