NewsMass Effect 3 goes gold, BioWare promises 'surprises'
Mass Effect 3 has officially gone gold. BioWare made the announcement today via Twitter, promising fans of the trilogy "many surprises".
The highly anticipated sci-fi sequel concludes the story of Commander Shepard as he squares off against the Reapers - wrapping up what many consider to be one of the strongest RPGs of this generation.
“After an awesome effort by our team, I’m proud to announce #MassEffect3 is officially GOLD! Many surprises await you – this week and beyond,” wrote series executive producer Casey Hudson.
As for what "surprises" BioWare has in store for us - we'll just have to wait and see.
Yesterday, BioWare released a Facebook app giving Xbox 360 users early access to the Mass Effect 3 beta for solving a puzzle. Of course, it was extremely difficult and if you didn't solve it you won't have to wait much longer. A playable demo will be released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE tomorrow.
Mass Effect 3 is due out on March 6th in the U.S. and on March 9th in Europe.
