NewsMinecraft Pocket Edition update being submitted to Android and iOS stores today
Minecraft Pocket Edition was supposed to receive an update on Wednesday, but was delayed due to some "game breaking bugs".
Today, Minecraft Pocket Edition lead developer Daniel Kaplan released a statement to fans via Reddit, apologizing for the delay in the update for Android and iOS devices.
"Hey guys, Im really sorry for the delay," he said to fans.
"I know that a lot of people have been waiting for the new update for Minecraft - Pocket Edition and the goal was to submit to the stores during Wednesday but we found some game breaking bugs," Kaplan explained.
According to his post, the goal is to submit the update, which is being fixed, to the Android and iOS today.
Unfortunately, it's a very slow process of which Kaplan or Mojang have no control over.
"As many of you probably know submitting stuff to the Android Market goes faster than submitting to the iOS AppStore and there isn't much we can do about it."
