It appears that the PlayStation 3 version of Gotham City Impostors, the online shooting romp from WB, is busted. By "busted", I don't mean what happens to criminals when Batman gets his hands on them. No, I mean it's, well, kind of unplayable.

Folks who paid for the full game apparently can't access it. Rather than enjoying the benefits of everything Gotham City Impostors has to offer, players are stuck playing the trial version.

Unfortunately, different tactics to get the full game running aren't very effective. Players have stated that they reinstalled the game, but they're met with the same issue. Others have mentioned that Gotham City Impostors was working fine one moment, and the next it reverted back to trial mode.

An administrator on the Gotham City Impostors forums has mentioned that Sony has been notified of the issue. Here's hoping this nasty problem is resolved soon. I was actually thinking of downloading Gotham City Impostors. Yeah, that won't be happening until WB or Sony release an update on this annoying situation.
