Rayman Origins PS Vita release date confirmed

It seems as though critics loved Rayman Origins (we gave it an incredible 9.0), but Ubisoft's beloved mascot just doesn't command the same level of recognition as gaming stars like Mario or Sonic, meaning the stellar platformer didn't exactly win sales awards.

Thankfully though, our favorite floaty-limbed chicken... thing, is coming to the PS Vita, and looks to be one of the top launch titles. That's right, launch titles. Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Origins will be coming to the PS Vita on February 14th, the same date that the system will be made available to North American pre-order customers.

Personally, I think this game clocks right up there with Uncharted and Ninja Gaiden as the must-have Vita launch games. Will you be picking this platformer up on launch day?
