NewsRayman Origins 3DS lands in North America next month
It was recently announced that Rayman Origins, Ubisoft's latest venture into the platforming genre, was slated to land on the 3DS on March 16. Unfortunately for North American gamers who wanted to play the game on their 3DS systems, that date was exclusively announced for Europe. Aw, that's a total bummer, isn't it?
Well, not so fast! The North American release date for Rayman Origins has just been revealed today. If you were super jelly of the folks over in Europe because they knew when they were getting Rayman Origins, you'll be glad to know that the game is hitting 3DS portables on our side of the globe a lot sooner. Like, a whole month sooner!
Rayman Origins will drop for the 3DS in North America on February 17. That's less than a month from today, and just about a month before the European release. Ha! Take that Europe!
Sales for Rayman Origins haven't been particularly impressive across consoles thus far, but I've been reading comments from gamers all over the internet who are currently waiting for the game to be released for Nintendo's handheld. Here's hoping these folks help boost the game's overall sales figures. Mark your calendars, 3DS owners.
