NewsActivision details Prototype 2's Limited Edition
Prototype 2, the follow-up to arguably one of 2009's most underrated games, is set to release April 24, 2012, and today, publisher Activision has revealed information on the Limited Edition of the game.
Activision released a screenshot of the box-art for the Limited Edition (pictured below), which depicts the game's protagonist, Sgt. James Heller. Along with the box-art, Activision detailed the goodies that gamer's will get with their Limited Edition purchase, though it's primarily digital. The Prototype 2 Limited Edition comes with code for an in-game power called "Flesh Cleaver," a special avatar, and a behind the scenes DVD.

The first installment was an interesting take on the open-world genre, especially with its imagery of a devastated New York City. Though Prototype had its faults, developer Radical Entertainment has promised a stellar experience with Prototype 2, and with a dismal-looking April, it could very well be a top seller.
