Naughty Dog updated fans on the status of Uncharted 3 DLC since, you know, they promised a "ton" of it for the game.

Kicking off the New Year, they announced they will be releasing the four maps that were teased a couple of weeks after the Uncharted 3 launch.  These maps were Cave, Fort, Lost City, and the Sanctuary.

In addition to the new playing spaces, these maps received all-new dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects, and a "slew" of technical changes.  According to ND, the lighting was "reworked from scratch".

Naughty Dog also dropped some info on future DLC for Uncharted 3 which includes three new character skin packs.

"The Rogues Pack 1 and Rogues Pack 2 will let you play as some of the major thugs and minor characters from Uncharted 3. Donut Pack 1 will giant-size some of your favorite Uncharted 3 heroes and villains."

Naughty Dog said that the next blog update will contain more details on how and when the three skin packs will be available, as well as what DLC is coming after that.  The image below gives you a hint as to what that could be.
