Starhawk public beta begins Tuesday, January 17th

After two months of Starhawk private beta, LightBox and SCEA Santa Monica are finally ready to take the next step. Today, they announced that public beta will begin this Tuesday, January 17th.

Aside from giving more players a chance to check out the game, it also allows the developers to test all sorts of new things like game balance, server traffic, and general bugs.

A North American Starhawk beta schedule was posted online. On January 17th, all Playstation Plus subscribers and all private beta participants (who haven't erased their original private beta files) can get access to the public beta. On January 31st all Uncharted 3 beta key holders can get early access. February 7th and 14th have two additional early access opportunities before EVERYONE with a PlayStation Network account can get in on February 21st.
