Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier launch was delayed in the until May 22, 2012 in the U.S., and May 25 for the UK. The game will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

The launch details coincided with the announcement that a multiplayer beta for the game will be available in April for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.  Development director Adrian Lacey released a video updating fans on the progress of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

“Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment,” said Adrian Lacey, IP development director at Ubisoft Studios - France. “Today we are feature complete in our MP, Single player and 4 player coop campaign modes."

According the Lacey, the date was pushed back to ensure the game's features are at their "highest level" and "provide a truly unique shooter experience".

"The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks," concluded Lacey.
