Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition release date announced

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be available on March 2, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to an announcemement today by Warner Bros.

The new Komplete Edition includes the game and all previously released downloadable content. The DLC includes new fighters Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and everyone's favorite dream stalker Freddy Krueger. In addition to the characters, the Komplete Edition includes 15 Klassic Skins and three Klassic Fatalities (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile).

Mortal Kombat was arguably the year's best fighting game, thanks in part to a return to its more mature, gory roots.
