Amy dev allowing gamers to decide PS3 version's price
Screenshots and release info were recently revealed for Amy, the upcoming survival horror game from Lexis Numerique. The game, which is a digital download, looks to take a unique approach to the genre, and it seems pretty interesting. The weird thing about it, though, is that its pricing is different on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.
Currently, Amy has a price tag of $12.99 for PlayStation Network users. That's $2.99 more than the 800 Microsoft Points ($10) price of the Xbox Live Arcade version. Lexis Numerique CEO Jose Sanchis recently addressed gamers' concerns on the matter.
In a press release, Sanchis stated that the value of Microsoft Points varies by region, so that had a lot to do with the pricing. He also explained that he feels Amy is worth more than its asking price due to its roughly 10-hour long campaign and different approach at the genre. That said, he's willing to allow the gamers to decide how much Amy should cost.
