Yesterday, Kojima Productions revealed a design for a new snakeskin Nintendo 3DS that's said to be released as part of a 3DS hardware bundle for the launch of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. 

Later in the day, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima gave fans a first look at the snakeskin 3DS, teasing a picture of the the themed handheld on his Twitter (via Andriasang).

Responding to a fan, Kojima confirmd that the system will have a unique design and would be the industry's first snake pattern embossed design.

Additional details on the special edition snakeskin NIntendo 3DS will be revealed on January 20th.
