NewsEA Sports Delays SSX
In an early morning press release, EA Sports announced that they are pushing back their upcoming snowboarding game, SSX, a couple weeks.
The game will now be hitting store shelves on February 28 in North America and March 2 for the rest of the world. EA stated that they are delaying the title for extra "polishing" time.
SSX's creative director Todd Batty detailed the delay in an open letter on EA's website:
"Over the course of more than 10 years of making games I have not worked on a single project where our team did not wish, coming down the home stretch, that we could have just a bit more time," he said. "Time to do all the little things that may not be noticeable during the first hour or two playing the game, but are appreciated over the course of days, weeks, months and beyond."
