Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling wants to know if you are "ready for new game modes in Modern Warfare 3?"  According to his latest tweet, Modern Warfare 3 players will be greeted with some "surprises" this weekend.

"Ready for new game modes for Modern Warfare 3?  I've got some surprises for you for the weekend.  I'll confirm full details tomorrow!"

Other than that, everything remains a mystery.  A few days ago Bowling confirmed additional modes would come to Modern Warfare 3, but I didn't think it would be this soon.

"We're discussing some additional modes now, I'll let you know when you can expect that," he tweeted in response to a fan request for a Hardcore Headquarters mode.

Bowling mentioned the addition of Hardcore Ricochet mode to address teamkilling, and he did say they would release these modes "soon".   Richocet mode prevents teamkilling by returning the damage to the person who fires.

Whether or not these new game modes will be implemented this weekend, or if these are even the right modes, remains to be seen.  Be sure to check back tomorrow, or later today (as the tweet was made several hours ago), for additional details aobut the new game modes comign to Modern Warfare 3.
