DICE announced today that the Physical Warfare Pack for Battlefield 3 is now available to download on the PlayStaiton 3.  PS3 users can pick up this pack for free on the PlayStation Store. 

The Physical Warfare Pack isn't exclusive to the PS3, but as of right now it is only available on that platform.  PC and Xbox 360 players will be able to get it a later, unknown date.  "We will let you know as soon as it is available on all formats," DICE confirmed in their announcement today.

Battlefield 3's Physical Warfare Pack grants you instant access to the powerful DAO-12 shotgun, if you haven’t unlocked it already. It also features custom flechette ammo for the DAO-12, a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle, plus the Type 88 Light Machine Gun.

This pack was originally announced as a pre-order incentive, but fans argued it would give some players an unfair advantage.  This release comes shortly after DICE rolled out the Back to Karkand expansion back.
